Sasha Pivovarova was born in 1985 on January 21, 1985, in Moscow, Russia. She developed a love for arts at an early age being influenced by her mother.
Sasha joined art school in 1991 when she was 6 years old. She studied art history from the University of Moscow and enrolled at the St. Petersburg New Academy of Fine Art. There she learn't under photographer Igor Vishnyakov.
Vishnyakov posted her photos to IMG and Sasha was signed up by them in February, 2005. She opened the Spring 2005 collection for Prada at Milan, Italy. She appeared twice on the cover of Vogue magazine.
She walked the ramp for six consecutive seasons for Prada till 2008. She also
models for Armani cosmetics.
Sasha is also an artist as a side-career. She has also held an exhibition of her paintings in Paris.
Sasha Pivovarova has married Igor Vishnyakov.
