Biography and Career:
Sarah Jessica is the daughter of Barbara, a nursery school operator and teacher and Steven Parker an entrepreneur and journalist. Her father is from Brooklyn belonged to a Jewish family and their actual surname was "Bar-Kahn".
When she was a young girl she learned singing and ballet. Seeing her singing and dancing talents she was offered to do a play for William Archibald's "The Innocents". Later her family shifted to Cincinnati, Ohio and then to Dobbs Ferry,
New York where Sarah started her career as a child actress. In 1977 Sarah did
her high school at Dwight Morrow High School. She also went to the School for Creative and Performing Arts in Cincinnati, the School of American Ballet, the Professional Children's School and the Hollywood High School in
Los Angeles, California.
Apart from acting Sarah Jessica Parker has also produced a comedy series on HBO called "Washingtonienne". The show is about the lives of three smart and sophisticated friends, all working for powerful men on Capitol Hill. She is also doing the American version of the UK hit television series "Who Do You Think You Are?" for the NBC channel.
