He got in the field of acting at the age of 17 when went with his girlfriend to the National Institute of Dramatic Art, Sydney. There, he suddenly had an idea to audition and got selected to the school.
After completing his learning at the National Institute of Dramatic Art, he appeared in a number of local theatrical ventures. In 2000, he landed a small role in the show "JAG" for an episode. After that, he appeared in a number of movies and TV shows. In 2002, he was seen in the movies "Dirty Deeds" and "Hart's War".
