Rumer Willis was born on August 16, 1988 in Paducah, Kentucky. She had two sisters, Scout LaRue and Tallulah Belle.
Rumer first appeared as Willa Glen in the movie Now and Then when she was just 6 years old. She acted in Striptease being the daughter of her real-life mother. She auditioned for the James Joyce's classic The Dead in the hope to develop her career.
In the fall of 2002, Rumer went to the Interlochen Arts Academy, in Michigan as a freshman. Later she attended the Wildwood Secondary School in Los Angeles and graduated in June 2006.
In January 2005, Rumer participated in the special show Tsunami Aid: A Concert of Hope, and then in the movie Hostage starring Bruce Willis.
In 2007 Rumer was selected as Miss Golden Globe for2008 by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
