He was born in England to Alex and Rita Smith. He was third son to their family.
He was an interested in all instruments. He is a multi talented instrumentalist from his childhood.

He can play string instruments and wind instruments. He was the founder of the musical troop namely "The cure".
There he becomes vocalist and he done many songs there. In voice style, his soft voice style creates a new path in music career.
