Biography and Career:
Ray-J started at 8 to go to some auditions to appear in television commercials. From 1993 to 1994 he played in The Sinbad Show. In 1995 he signed with Elektra Records and recorded his first album titled Everything You Want after 1 year. His song Let It Go was on the soundtrack from Set It Off.
It reached number 25 in the United States charts and number 11 in New Zealand. In 1997, along with his sister, Brandy, he starred in a television special. Starting with 1999 he obtained a role on the UPN series. Along with Brandy, Ray-J recorded in 2000 Another Day In Paradise which was a success in the entire world. He worked with The Nept
unes, Lil' Kim and Rodeny Jerkis for his 2nd album titled This Ain' a Game.
Until 2005, Ray-J had a break from music and acting. He returned then and finished his 3rd album named Raydiation which featured big names from the american music industry like R. Kelly, Rob Egerton, Timbaland and Rodney Jerkins. In the same year he joined the cast of One On One, produced by UPN.
He was preparing to release a new album named All I Feel, which was featuring names like Yung Berg and The Game. The album 1st single is named Sexy Can I and reached number 3 on Hot 100 Top Singles.
