Ralph David Richardson (1902-1983) played many stage parts, including Falstaff (Shakespeare), Peer Gynt (Ibsen), and Cyrano de Bergerac (Rostand).
Short Biography:
He shared the management of the Old Vic theatre with Laurence Olivier 1944-1950.
Later stage successes include Home in 1970 and No Man's Land in 1976. His films include Things to Come in 1936, Richard III in 1956, Our Man in Havana in 1959, The Wrong Box in 1966, The Bed Sitting Room in 1969, and O Lucky Man! in 1973.
