Quentin Tarantino has an impressive career as a film director and producer but the most important titles signed by him are Reservoir Dogs in 1992, Pulp Fiction in 1994, Jackie Brown in 1997, Kill Bill series from 2003 to 2004, Death Proof in 2007 and Inglorious Bastards in 2009.
Among the years his films brought him a lot of awards and nominees, including an Academy Award, some BAFTAs, Golden Globes, Palme d'Or, Emmy and Grammys. He was named the 12th greatest film director of all times by the Total Film.
Quentin Tarantino started his cinematography career when Lawrence Bender enc
ouraged him to write a screenplay. In 1987 he directed and wrote a film named My Best Friend's Birthday.
Even if the original film was never ended, its screenplay served as a base for True Romance. His first hit in films was made in 1992 by the Reservoirs Dogs at the Sundance Film Festival. The 2nd screenplay sold by Quentin Tarantino was for the movie Natural Born Killers, which was produced by Oliver Stone.
He offered also the projects for Men in Black and Speed. His 3rd recurring film was Jackie Brown in 1997, an adaptation after Rum Punch, the novel of Elmore Leonard. In the same year he had the idea for Inglorious Bastards, but started to write the screenplay for Kill Bill.
