Preston Bailey is an American child actor. Born in Portland, Oregon on July 25th, 2000. He started acting in television commercials at the age of two. After moving to California at the age of five, Preston booked the first television role he auditioned for. He has had guest starring roles on the t.v. shows Criminal Minds, How I Met Your Mother, Numbers and Strong Medicine. He co-starred in NBC's Alpha Mom.

His most notable television role is in seasons two, three and four of the Showtime drama Dexter. He plays Dexter (Michael C. Hall) and Rita's (Julie Benz) son Cody. Bailey was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award in 2009 for this role.

Bailey was picked by Oscar nominated director Rod Lurie to play Josh Hartnett's son in the feature Resurrecting the Champ. Bailey, the youngest to audition for the role, was only five at the time and needed to be six to legally work the hours required on the set. Another child actor was then cast. Lurie cast Bailey in his next feature film, Nothing But The Truth. He played Kate Beckinsale and David Schwimmer's son Timmy.

In 2006, Bailey spent a month in Budapest, Hungary, working on the New Line Cinema feature Amusement. He co-starred alongside his real-life older brother Brennan Bailey for this film.

Bailey co-starred with William Shatner in 2007 in a Priceline.com television commercial. Shatner zaps Bailey's dad with a stun-gun and Bailey asks "Did you just zap my daddy?". Other television commercials Bailey starred in include, Clorox, Mucinex, BMW, Bissel, Juicy Juice and Stouffer's.

In September 2008, Bailey was cast to play boy preacher Isaac Chroner in Stephen King's Children Of The Corn, 2009. The 25th anniversary remake of the original classic horror film. Later in March, 2009, he was cast alongside Danielle Pannabaker in the feature film The Crazies, directed by Breck Eisner (Sahara).
