Piper Perabo was cast in 2000 for a role as a lead character in The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle. After this she played in Coyote Ugly where she was Violet Sanford, a young woman that came in New York to accomplish her dreams. For this role she was awarded with MTV Movie Award for Best Music Moment for One Way or Another.
In 2001, Piper Perabo starred in Lost and Delirious. In 2002, she got another role in Slap Her… She's French which became after two years She Gets What She Wants. In 2002 she played the role of the eldest Baker Child in the comedy Cheaper By The Dozen.
