Philip McKeon is the brother of Nancy McKeon, which is also an actress who plays in Facts of Life. He has his debut when he was only 4 years old, as a child model for newspapers, magazines and TV commercials. Linda Lavin discovered him on Broadway and recommended him for a role in the sitcom where she played Alice. He was interpreted the character of Tommy Hyatt, son of Alice, from 1976 to 1985.
Since 1985, Philip McKeon has periodic apparitions on different act roles. In 1993 he appeared in Sandman and in 1994 in Ghoulies IV. He is also a director and film producers in Teresa's Tattoo from 1994, Murder in the
First in 1995 and in 2000, The Young Unknowns.
