Petre Marin was born on September 8, 1973 in Bucharest, Romania. He is a famous Romanian soccer player.

Biography and Career :

Petre Marin began his career playing for Sportul Branistea in the C Division. He made his first appearance in the First Romanian Division(Divizia A)in 1993, when he was 20 years old, while he was playing for Sportu Studentesc in a match versus FC Sibiu. It was a happy debut for the young left back, his team won the match with 1:0.

After 2 seasons spent in the First League with Sportu Studentesc, a team that had as main objective to maintain their place in the A division, Petre Marin is transferred to FC National in 1995. Once he got to a much better team with important ambitions, Petre Marin manages to reach the second place 2 years in the roundat

with FC National.

Petre Marin improved his evolutions season after season and in 2000 he drawn the attention of Rapid Bucharest officials. Petre Marin played half of season for Rapid Bucharest but his performances didn’t confirm the official’s expectations, so he got back to FC National.

After his turning back, Petre Marin continued to be an essential player for FC National and he was very close of winning the championship with his team again in 2001, reaching the 2nd place again. He played for FC National 3 more seasons.
In 2004 Petre Marin has been brought to Steaua Bucharest, the current champions of the First League by his ex. trainer from FC National, Cosmin Olaroiu.
This time Petre Marin confirms he’s a great left back and he manages to find a place in the first 11 of Steaua Bucharest, his current club.

Since he got to Steaua Bucharest he made it to the National team of Romania, for which he played 4 games until now. Even though Petre Marin he's kind of aged, he still plays like he is at his first youth.
