Biography and Career:

Peter Riegert debut was on Broadway in the musical Dance with me. He also starred in The Old Neighborhood, An American Daughter, Censored Scenes from King Kong, The Nerd. He also appeared in other stages off- Broadway, like The Birthday Party, Isn' it Romantic, Road to Nirvana, Sexual Perversity in Chicago and A Rosen by Any Other Name.

From the notable film titles where he starred we may mention City Girl, Animal House, Amricathon, Traffic, The Mask, Chilly Scenes of Winter, Local Hero and Oscar. He won the award from Screen Actors Guild. Also he appeared in How to Kill Your Neighbor's Dog and in The Resp onse.

Peter Riegert television debut was in M*A*S*H, as cpl. Igor Straminsky. He also starred as the attorney Chauncey Zeirko in The Sopranos and in some episodes from Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. He appeared and in Gypsy, Barbarians at the Gate, Seinfeld and in Family Guy.

Peter Riegert made his screenwriting debut with an adaptation after a little story by O. Henry, named By Courier. For this, he received an Academy Award nominee and a Festival Award for Best First Feature. After this, he wrote, starred and directed the film named King of the Corner. He had an apparition in a music video of Tony Power, named Don' Nobody Move (This is a Heist).
