Peter Hall was an American director who was born on November 22, 1930.

He was born on 1930 to Grace Pamment and Reginald Edward Arthur Hall in England. Hall interested in directing stage shows.

He has done many stage shows. Hall's first stage show was played on Theatre Royal, Windsor. And he was the founder of Royal Shakespeare Company.

He has done many Shakespeare stage show. In 1983 he presented a new production of Wagner's Ring Cycle at Bayreuth, with Sir Georg Solti conducting.

This production was in Honor of the 100th anniversary of Wagner's death. His latest program played at K ingston upon Thames in 2008. Hall married four times.

His first was to French actress Leslie Caron, followed by Jacqueline Taylor, opera soprano Maria Ewing, and present wife Nicola Frei.

His diaries were published in 1983. One of his children is the actress Rebecca Hall and another is the director, Edward Hall.
