Peter Bergman wanted to participate in the All My Children soap opera as Dr. Jeff Martin but he was chosen to interpret Dr. Cliff Warner. He had this role from 1979 to 1989, whit a one year break in 1987. His character had to married his wife four times and to divorce for three. After he left this soap opera, he was chosen to be a part from the cast of another success television serial named The Young and the Restless, as Jack Abbott.
Peter Bergman had a one episode apparition in The Nanny, in 1997, where he interpreted his character from The Young and the Restless, Jack Abbott, along with another guest star, Pamela Anderson.
Also, he was playing Jack Abbott in 1998 in The Bold and the Beautiful.
