- Peg Entwistle was born on the 5th of January rather than the 1st of July - To describe her as a 'famous actor' is a fairly big leap. She was a moderately successful stage actress, and had a minor role in one unsuccessful film. - You make no mention of the main reason she's famous: her tragic suicide. She leapt to her death from the top of the 'H' in the 'HOLLYWOOD' sign (which at that point read 'HOLLYWOODLAND'). - Although her death was cerified on the 18th of September this was because her body lay undiscovered for two days. She went for the walk from which she never returned on the night of the 16th, and it is generally believed that she dies some time on the night of the 16th or during the early hours of the 17th |
