Paul Nash Paul Nash (1889-1946) was a English painter, an official war artist in World Wars I and II.

Short Biography:

In the 1930s he was one of a group of artists promoting avant-garde styles in the UK. Two of his most celebrated works are Totes Meer/Dead Sea (Tate Gallery, London) and The Battle of Britain (Imperial War Museum, London).
