Paul Abraham Dukas (1865-1935) was a French composer.
Short Biography:
His orchestral scherzo L'Apprenti Sorcier / The Sorcerer's Apprentice in 1897 is full of the colour and energy that characterizes much of his work.
He was professor of composition at the Paris Conservatoire and composed the opera Ariane et Barbe-Bleue / Ariane and Bluebeard in 1907, and the ballet La Pen in 1912.
