Patrick Stewart (full name Patrick Hewes Stewart) was born on Saturday, July 13, 1940 in Mirfield, Yorkshire, England and he is a famous actor.

Biography and Career:

He is very well know and especially famous for his starring roles in the extremely successful "X-Men" trilogy and "Star Trek: The Next Generation". Although he is so successful in the acting business, Patrick is also Chancellor of the University of Huddersfield and has a long theatrical career behind him which is no less successful than his acting career.

He had a rough childhood and in 2006 made a short movie in which he remembered what he had to endure. Patrick Stewart had studied at Mirfield Secondary Modern School (Mirfield High School), Mirfield, Yorkshire, England (dropped out) and then Patrick attended t he Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, Bristol, England.

His debut in a professional acting career and on Broadway at the same time, was in "A Midsummer Night's Dream". During his career he played many notable roles in major television series but the one role that really got to him was "Captain Jean-Luc Picard" in Star Trek.

He even said that Star Trek changed his life and, to quote his exact words, "It was almost entirely a blessing. It introduced me to a world I never expected to be a part of - celebrity, fame, financial success. It also gave me the chance to work with the finest group of people I've ever known."

His performances are astonishing and we hope that he will continue to please our eyes with his acting skills.
