
Patricia Heaton was born on March 4, 1958 in Bay Village, Ohio. She is the daughter of Pat Heaton and Chuck Heaton.
Biography and Career :
She has three sisters named Sharon, Alice and France, and also she has one brother named Michael.
She went to The Ohio State University where she graduated. After that she moved to New York City to study acting with the drama teacher William Esper.
Her first role as an actress was on Broadway on "Don't Get God Started" in 1987. Her performance was nominated at "Outstanding Lead Actress" at Lucille Lortel Awards.
In January 2007 she got another Broadway role in the play "The Scene" with Tony Shalhoub.
When she dropped off Broadway she moved to Los Angeles and was casted in the ABC drama "Thirtysomething". She appeared on the
series from 1989 since 1991. She made another big appearances in series like "Matlock", "Party of Five" and "The King of Queens".
In 1992 she gor another big role in the short series "Room for Two" with Linda Lavin, "Someone Like Me" and "Woman of the House".
She was nominated seven times at Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actrees in a Comedy Series and she won twice.
After that she got a big role in the CBS' sitcom "Everybody Loves Raymond".
In 2007 she got a role in the Fox's series "Back to You", but is was canceled in May 2008.
She declared to "The Rachel Ray Show" that she filmed the pilot for a new comedy series called "The Middle".
In December 2008 she was casted in the Hallmark movie "Front of the Class".
She also made an appearence in the Season 7 premiere of "Extreme Makeover".
Heaton had some important roles in the movies "Shattered Dreams" in 1990 and "The Goodbye Girl" in 2004.
One of her memorable role was in the 1992 movie "Memoris of an Invisible Man" and in the same year she got another important role in "Beethoven".
She has also been the spokesperson for Acme, Jewel and Shaw's. She also appeared in the Pantene comercials.
She is married David Hunt since 1990 and they have four sons Samuel David, John Basil, Joseph Charles and Daniel Patrick.
