Biography and Career:
Pamela Des Barres had relations among rock musicians from Sunset Strip since she was a teenager. After she finished the college she haired in different jobs that allowed her to hang with musicians and other artists. She paired up with Mick Jagger, Keith Moon, Jimmy Page, Jim Morrison, Nick St. Nicholas, Noel Riddinf, Brandon de Wild, Michael Richards, Don Johnson and Chriss Hillman.
Pamela Des Barres was also a member of a band named The GTOs and formed by Zappa. They released in 1969 an album named Permanent Damage and dissolved only after one month because some members were arrested.
In the ‘70s, Pamela Des Barres tried the actress career, thanks to Zappa and played in some movies like 200 Motels and the soap opera Search for Tomorrow. At the end of 1977, on 29 October, she married with the ex lead singer of Detective's band, Michael des Barres. She gave birth to a son, named Nicholas Dean on 30 September 1978. They divorced on the middle of 1991.
Pamela Des Barres wrote a diary about her experiences since she was a groupie and published it in two books: I'm with the Band in 1987 and Take Another Little Piece of My Heart: A Groupie Grows Up in 1993.
