P. Diddy won, until now, 3 Grammy Awards and 2 MTV Video Awards. His clothing line is also famous and won a Council Fashion Designers of America Award.

His originally used name was Puff Daddy but changed it in August 2005, after a legal battle with a not so known artist named Richard 'Diddy' Dearlove. In June 2008, rumors about another nickname change were heard but P. Diddy denied them soon.

P. Diddy's business include Bad Boy Records, under the Bad Boy Entertainment Worldwide firm, a clothing line named Sean John, a movie production company named Sean by Sean Combs and two restaurants. He i s also the recording executive, producer and performer of Making the Band, a show produced by MTV.

At this moment, P. Diddy is one of the richest and most powerful hip-hop performers and his net was estimate, in 2006, to over 346 million dollars. In the movie that illustrated the life of Notorious BIG, Derek Luke interpreted P. Diddy. Is debut single named Can' Nobody Hold Me Down had the first position in Billboard Hot 100 Top for six weeks.
