Otto Stern (1888-1969) studied with Einstein in Prague and Zurich, where he became a lecturer in 1914.
Short Biography:
After World War I he demonstrated by means of the Stern-Gerlach apparatus that elementary particles have wavelike properties as well as the properties of matter that had been demonstrated. He left Germany for the USA in 1933. He won the Nobel prize in 1943.
