Olga Kurylenko was born on November 14, 1979, in Berdyansk, Ukraine. At the age of 15, she was discovered by a model scout during a Moscow trip. Her debut modelling gig was in Cuba.
She also developed an interest in acting and began taking drama classes. Her first big performance was in the movie “L’Annulaire”. Olga got the Best Actress award at the Brooklyn International Film Festival for her acting and the film also entered Toronto Film Fest in 2005.
