Ol, known as Oliver, is a famous British writer and director, mostly for TV. He changed his name so as not to be confused with Oliver Parker the director. He started in 1995, when he wrote TV movie Loved Up. In 2005, he wrote and directed Imagine Me & You.

Ol dated Abigail Cruttenden and amongst other amorous encounters was Thandie Newton.
