Nikki Reed was born on May 17, 1988 in Los Angeles, California, United States. She is a famous actress and screen writer. She was raised without the concept of religion, but her life remain very complicated due to her parents divorce when she was two. She was a bookworm at school but later she turned out to be rebellious and emotionally volatile. During that period her relation became complicated with her parents and left her home in the mid of her teens.

Nikki had no specific desire to become an actress, but got her first role in 2003 in the movie, "Thirteen" portraying Evie Zamora who is a thirteen year old girl, who drags Tracy into her world of sex. The movie gave her a lot of exposure in audiences as an actress and screen writer.
She has also hosted many Award shows like, "Young Hollywood Awards" in 2003 and the "Independent Spirit Awards Nomination Show".

Besides her career as a screen writer and a host she acted in many other movies like, "Cherry Rush", "Twilight", "Chain Letter", "K-11" and "Familiar Strangers". She has also played roles in TV serials such as: "The O.C", "Justice" and "ZReaper". Nikki is also making a movie under her production, "Last Day of Summer" in 2009.
