Nicholas Ridley (c. 1500-1555) became chaplain to Henry VIII in 1541, and bishop of London in 1550.
Short Biography:
He took an active part in the Reformation and supported Lady Jane Grey's claim to the throne. After Mary's accession he was arrested and burned as a heretic.
