Nadja Auermann was born on March 19, 1971 in West Berlin, Germany. She is a supermodel and also an actress.
Biography and Career :
Her parents were bankers and they got divorced. She started working as a waitress, thinking what to do with her life.
She started the modeling career when she was 19 years old and was discovered in a cafe. At first she had a contract with Karin in Paris, but then she continued with Elite. Soon she became famous and many say it was after she had dyed her hair platinum blonde. Her legs are famous too because of their length. In 1997 and 1999 she had World Records in Guiness Book as the model with the longest legs at 44 inches (112cm).
She did advertisements and commercials for important brands like Versace, Cartier, Chanel, Armani, Gianfranco
Ferre, Dior, Prada, Valentino, Trussardi, H&M, Joop, Wonderbra and Yves Saint Laurent. Being famous she started posing for magazines, especially, Harper's Bazaar, Vogue, Glamour, ELLE and Max.
She appeared in George Michael's 'Too Funky' music video. After succeeding as a model she began an acting career. She was seen in movies like "Letztes Kapitel" and "Sleeping Beauty's Silent Death".
On March 19, 1999 she married Wolfram Grandezka. They have one child, but they divorced in 2005.
