Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (baptist name Johannes Chrysostomus Wolfgangus Theophilus Mozart) was born on the January 27, 1756, in Salzburg. He is one of the greatest composers of classical music in the world.
Biography and Career :
From the beginning of his career, as a wonder child, and until his premature death, he composed great songs in the different domains of music.
His father, Leopold, was already a well known musician. It was said that he was a cruel and rough man, who tried to use his son's talent, but in the letters of Wolfgang he described him as a gentle person. They assume Mozart was stubborn and proud, but if you read his letters you can realize he was careful and with a big culture.
Wolfgang's career started at the age of seven when his father took him to an
European concert. This way he could hear a variety of music and meet many people as Johann Christian Bach.
The concerts of the young Mozart weren't liked very much especially his last one in Paris in 1776. Besides this between him and his supporter, the archbishop of Salzburg, appeared a conflict because Mozart wanted a job to allow him to continue his musical career and didn't receive it. When his mother passed away, the person who stood next to him during the concerts, he died as a wonder child but it was born a mature composer.
He wrote in 1781 "Idomeneo" which had a great success. He was fired after a quarrel with the archbishop and left to Vienna.
In 1782 he got married to Constanze Weber, against his father will. He always fought with financial problems although he composed so many great songs.
His first song in Vienna was "Die Entführung aus dem Serail" ("The Abduction from the Seraglio") in 1782.
In the "The Marriage of Figaro" ("Le nozze di Figaro ossia la folle giornata") you can see his brilliant style, and in "Don Giovanni" even if there are a few comic parts you can recognize a dramatic force that has never existed before.
In 1790 he finished another great creation "Cosi Fan Tutte" a cynical story, almost unbelievable about the inconstancy of women. This work was followed by "The Magic Flute" ("Die Zauberflote") in 1791.
His career and life were ended suddenly in 1791 on the 5th of December and it remained a suspicious thing even now and he had a huge influence even after his life ended up.
