Michelle Vieth (full name Michelle Vieth Paetau) was born on November 19, 1979 in Marshalltown, Iowa. She is an American-born Mexican actress of telenovelas.

Biography and Career :

When she was 3 years old, she and her parents moved to Acapulco, Mexico. One day, while walking on the beach, Producer Valentin Pimstein walked up to Michelle Vieth and asked her if she was interested in acting in a soap opera.

Chilean producer Valentin Pimstein invited her to a casting for Televisa, however it was suggested that she first enroll in the Centro de Educación Artistica (CEA) to study acting and modeling. Two years later she auditioned for Mi pequena traviesa and she obtained the leading role.
In 2003 Michelle Vieth was one of the celebrities living in the house of Big Brother VIP Mexico, and the fourth member to be expelled from the show.

After her divorce from Hector Soberon, Michelle Vieth started dating Leandro Ampudia, with whom she had a baby in 2005.

- In 1981 her family moved from the US to Aculpulco, Mexico.
- Michelle Vieth went on to star in the very successful Mexican soap opera Clase 406.
- In 2003, she appeared as a contestant in the reality show Big Brother VIP.
- Her first acting role came in 1998 when she appeared as Traviesa in the Spanish film Mi Pequena Traviesa.
- Her big break came in 2001 when she was cast as Laura in the Mexican soap opera Amigas y Rivales.
- In 2002 she married, then divorced, actor Hector Soberon.
