Michelle Obama (born as Michelle LeVaughn Robinson) was born on January 17.1964, in Chicago, Illinois. She was keen in reading and attended Whitney Young High School, where she became treasurer of the student council.
After school she completed B.A. in Sociology from Princeton University and, then, she did a degree in Juries Doctor at the Harvard Law School. She was an important part of Harvard Law School's African-American community.
After Harvard she joined law firm Sidley Austin. There Michelle came in touch with Barack Obama. They married in 1992.
Thereafter, she worked as the assistant to the mayor of Chicago. In 1993, Michelle Obama joined Public Allies.
In 1996, she became the Associate Dean of Studen
t Services at the University of Chicago and, in 2005, she was made the Vice President for Community and External Affairs.
She also supported her husband's presidential campaign in 2007. In August 2008, She spoke at the Democratic National Convention as part of the campaign. She is presently the First Lady of the USA.
