May Andersen (full name Lykke May Andersen) was born on June 16, 1982 in Copenhagen, Denmark. She is a famous fashion model who became popular after her appearance on the Victoria's Secret catwalk.
Biography and Career :
She was discovered the age of 13 and when she was 16 years old she started her modeling career. In 2000, at the age of 18, she moved to New York and developed her skills and career. The same year she was hit by a garbage truck while driving her own car and later she was given compensation from the City of New York. She says that when she was a child she wanted to be a singer.
In 2003 and 2004 she posed for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition issue and in 2007 in the Lavazza Calendar. She modeled for Christian Lacroix, Gianfranco Ferre, Miu Miu, Thomas B
urberry, Valentino and many others.
She had an incident with the police in 2006, but after a deal with the authorities the charges were dropped.
Stephen Dorff and Steve-O, the Jackass star, are two of her ex-boyfriends. The press says she is now (2007) involved in a relation with Kid Rock.
