Biography and Career
Matthew Laborteaux was born in Los Angeles, California, USA. Matthew is a son of Frances Marshall Laborteaux. He is the brother of actor Patrick Labyorteaux and actress Jane Laborteaux. Matthew is close friends with violinist Joshua Bell.
Matthew Laborteaux is probably best known for his television role as Albert Quinn Ingalls on the hit NBC TV series, Little House on the Prairie, from 1978 to 1982. He was also featured in the short lived 1980s TV series, Whiz Kids. Matthew has starred in some TV movies as well.
In 1986, Laborteaux's role in the Wes Craven film, Deadly Friend, brought him lots of fame and encouragement. He played a role of Paul Conway, a young genius who resurr
ects a dead girl using a chip from a robot he created that was destroyed by a mean lady. Laborteaux also has worked as a voice actor for video games and cartoons.
Matthew Laborteaux made guest appearances on many television shows, including The Bob Newhart Show, Lou Grant, The Love Boat, Night Court, Silk Stalkings, and Spider Man as the voice of Flash Thompson.
