Matthew Stephen Leinart, popularly known as Matt Leinart was born on May 11,1983. He is the quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals of NFL.

Biography and Career:

Matt Leinart is born at Santa Ana in California. He was born with strabismus or "crossed eyed" and had to undergo surgery to fix the problem. After his surgery he had to wear special eyeglasses to see properly. But for his overweight frame he had been the target of ridicule from his classmates and schoolmates at an early age. This was so terrible to him that he decided to turn to sports.

He played football when he was a school student. He went to Mater Dei High School and when attending the school he led his team to Division I co-championship and got the title for most valuable player. When at college he took part for Southern California and led them to the 2003 AP National Championship. He led them to the 2004 BCS National Championship. He won the Heisman Trophy in the year 2004.

The 2003 sophomore season was a challenge for him. Matt's first career pass was against Auburn. Leinart won the first three game but the Trojans lost by 34-31 to California.

They bounced back soon. Leinart played well and won the match with 37-17.Leinart and Trojans won the eight games and Trojans won the AP National Championship. Trojans were number 1 once again.

The Trojans finished No. 1 in the AP Poll, winning the AP national championship.

The Trojans began with Leinart's junior season in 2004. They got victories in their first three matches. The Trojans played the Stanford University on the 25th of September, 2004 and they were trailing with 17-28 but Leinart played beautifully to give a 31-28 win.
