Mary Donaldson was born on February 5, 1972 in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. She is the Crown Princess of Denmark and married to Crown Prince Frederik, who is the heir apparent to the Throne of Denmark.
She was raised in Tasmania, attended the University of Tasmania after completion of her matriculation.
Mary moved to the side of advertisement and she was heavily committed as a young girl. Her mother died in 1997 after which she toured extensively through Europe and United States.
During 2000 Summer Olympics on September 16 held at Sydney, Mary met Crown Prince Frederik at the Slip Inn. From there the start of the relationship took place when they were officially engaged on October 8, 2003, which eventually ended up for marriage on May 14, 2004 in Copenhagen Cathedral, in Denmark.
Right after her marriage she was given the Danish citizenship. Mary gave birth to two children, Christian Valdemar Henri John and Isabella Henrietta Ingrid Margrethe.

She is famous for being voted as "Woman of the Year" by a Danish magazine, 'Alt for damerne' and after polling 23,000 respondents she is the most popular member of the Danish royal family.
