Martin Van Buren (full name Martin Abrahamse Van Buren) was born on Thursday, December 05, 1782 in Kinderhook, New York, USA. He was the 8th President of the United States.
Biography and Career:
His father Abraham Van Buren was a farmer. He got his early education in his village Kinder Hook. When he reached to 14 years he began studying law at the office of Francis Sylvester. After the completion of law, he was introduced to the Bar in 1803. He got married to a beautiful lady Hannah Hoes in 1807 and she was his sweat heart and love. She died at the age of thirty five years and Martin Van Buren never remained.
Martin Van Buren was the 8th President of U.S under Andrew Jackson. He offered his contributions as Vice President and secretary of state. He was the 1st President of
U.S who was not belonged to British descent. He was a prominent symbol in the 2nd party system and was a major organizer of the Democratic Party.
It is a strange thing about him that he was the only President of U.S who not to have spoken English as 1st language and the 1st one from New York.
Martin Van Buren presented his administration for just the term and played a key role in the improvement and development of Modern politics organization. Under the kind supervision of Andrew Jackson he was the major key personality figure to improve the organizational structure of president democracy. He did this very nicely as secretary of states and also as Vice President.
In 1836 he became the President of U.S. in the beginning he declared that he would copy his illustrations procedure. As a president he faced a huge storm of Economic hardships, the 1837 panic. During Aroostook war as Carolina scandal made circumstances very difficult for him and relations with Britain and Canada were made strained. At last he had to leave the office after four years with a close popular vote. In 1861 he died of bronchial Asthma and heart attack.
