Marcus Dell Gastineau is a 54 year old ex football player (was born on November 20, 1956 in Ardmore, Oklahoma).
Career:
He used to play for New York Jets between 1979 and 1988, and he was a leading defensive end. Mark was one of the most feared rushers around and he was a five time Pro Bowler as well.
Gastineau also had some records. The most important is the one for most sacks in a single season, 22, which was not broken for 17 years.
He retired in 1988 because of some personal problems and he tried to come back in 1990, but played only a few games and retired again. After that, he tried a career in boxing, which held until 1996, with a 15-2 record. That record was not so great though, because many of his opponents came back later and said they were told to not fight f
air, to make Mark Gastineau look good.
The 1990's were rough for Gastineau, being arrested for domestic violence and drug possession. He even spent some almost a year in 1999.
He was married to Lisa Gastineau, and had a daughter with her, Brittny, but in the late 1980's left Lisa for Brigitte Nielsen. He even told that he retired in 1988 to be close to Brigitte, because she was very sick.
In 2001, after he got away from jail, he said he had a religious conversion. In 2010, everyone found out that he had a son with Brigitte Nielsen, a son who he kept hidden from his daughter Brittny until then.
His name is Killian Marcus Gastineau.
Gastineau and Nielsen split after the the appearance of Killian and he was raised in Milan by his mother.
