Biography and Career
Mark Ashley was born in Apolda/Thuringia and currently lives in Bad Salzungen. At the age of thirteen he was discovered by the producer Steffen Ehrhardt, in a German discotheque where he sang songs of Modern Talking.
With his first single Dream of Great Emotion, Mark jumped into the German airplay - charts at 9 and in the BVD charts at 19. Producer and Singer convinced the record company ZYX Records, label: Dance Street, to record further singles and albums with Mark later on.
In 2002, Mark's first album, It's Just the Way at ZYX Records was released. Later in 2005, he came up with his second album, The Fans of Modern Talking with four unpublished titles. In 2005, record company Music-Sternc
hen published the third album of Mark, Luckystar.
In 2006, Mark brought, in market his fourth album, Give Me a Chance, which contained ballads for the first time. Lastly in 2008, Heartbreak Boulevard was released and contains songs with the original sound of Modern Talking. It is the fifth album.
Mark Ashley has most faithful fan group in Germany. But besides his own country Germany Mark Ashley has fans all around the world; even in Chile and Perú, Mark is quite popular. He also has fans in more unlikely places such as the United States, where he has made a few appearances.
