Maria Menounos was born on June 8, 1978 in Medford, Massachusetts. She is a journalist, television personality and actress.

Biography and Career :

She attended the Emerson College in Boston. Her career as a model began when she started participating at beauty contest.

In 1996 she won the Miss USA title and in another year she won the Miss Massachusetts Teen USA title. Soon she started working as a reporter for Entertainment Tonight.

While still being at college she received a job at Channel One News. There she interviewed George W. Bush and went to El Salvador to send details about the 2001 earthquake.

For the Entertainment Tonight she took interviews to famous people as the Osbournes or Robin Williams. She gained her boss trust and received the job of hosting the ET on MTV & VH1.

She began to produce, host and write for the news and 1999 was the year she appeared in the movie "George's Auto". FHM and People are magazines in which she appeared. As a producer she did "In the Land of Merry Misfits" and "Longtime Listener".

Helping people is something she likes doing often and she even founded the 'Take Action Hollywood!' foundation. The media said she had a relation with the famous Vin Diesel.
