Maria Elena Camerin was born on the 12th of March 1982 in Motta de Livenza, Italy and she is a tennis player.

Biography and Career :

In 1997 she became a professional tennis player after starting her tennis career when she was a child.

On the 11th of October 2004 she was ranked on the 41 position in Top 100 and this is the highest position reached by her until now.
She has won almost one million dollars just from tennis.
Now she is staying in Venetia, Italy. Some say she is a better doubles player than a single player.
During the years she ahs won six ITF single titles, three WTA doubles titles and five ITF doubles titles.
The WTA doubles tournaments were won at Tashkent, Guangzhou and Cincinnati. The first tow were conquered in 2005 and the third in 2006. Her partners in the finals were Emilie Loit, Emmanuelle Gagliardi and Gisela Dulko.
Between 2003 and 2005 she reached the second round at the fourth Grand Slam tournament, the US Open.
In 2003 and 2004 she had the same results at Wimbledon and in the year 2004 at the French Open.
Her best results at a Grand Slam tournament were in 2006 and 2007 at the Australian Open where reached the third round.
Even if she hasn't still won a WTA single title has time to win it. If she trains hard and continue fighting her chances to have successes are big.
