Maria Bartiromo was born on September 11, 1967 in Brooklyn, New York, USA. She is a journalist, columnist and news anchor.

Biography and Career :

When she was young she used to work in her parents' restaurant where she checked coats. Her parents also have one boy and one girl besides her. She attended the New York University and obtained a degree in journalism and economics.

CNN Business News is the place where she worked until 1993. Then she decided to join CNBC where she hosted Marketwatch, contributed to Squawk Box and had other jobs like writing columns for Individual Investor, Ticker and "BusinessWeek" magazines and contributor to NBC's The Today Show.

During the years she had many television appearances for example at The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Night with

Conan O'Brien, The Caroline Rhea Show, and McEnroe. She became a writer and the first book she wrote is "Use the News: How to Separate the Noise from the Investment Nuggets and Make Money in Any Economy". In 2007 she became co-anchor of "Closing Bell" show and anchor of "Wall Street Journal Report with Maria Bartiromo".

On June 13, 1999 she married Johnathan Steinberg, who is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Individual Investor Group.

She is an interesting, beautiful and intelligent woman. People expect a lot from her and it is sure that she will have a great success from now on.
