Biography and Career :
She worked as a telephone switchboard operator in White Plains, New York but then luck came to her. She was discovered thanks to her beauty and started a modeling career. Marguerite Chapman had a contract with John Robert Powers Agency and because of her glory as a model she was remarked too by the 20th Century Fox film studios in Hollywood. She started a career as an actress and played in many movies.
The actress got married to J. Richard Bremerkamp, but finally they divorced. In 1948 she married with G. Bentley Ryan and after only 3 years of marriage they divorced in 1951. She died in on August 31, 1999 in Burbank, Californi
a, USA and was buried in Holy Cross Cemetery, in Culver City, California.
