Marcy Walker was born on November 26, 1961. She is an American actress.

Biography and Career

Walker was born in Paducah, Kentucky. She joined Triad High School in Troy, Illinois, and completed her graduation, in 1979. Later she also attended Antelope Valley High School in Lancaster, California.

In 1981, she was for the very first time appeared in a soap as Liza Colby on All My Children. Soap been successful for three years and later she decided to leave the show for other opportunities. She was nominated twice as an Outstanding Supporting Actress Daytime Emmy, in 1983 and 1984.

In 1984, she had been a part of another popular soap role in the form of Eden Capwell on Santa Barbara. Her character, partnered with A Martinez's character, Cruz Castillo, became one of the show 's flagship super couple.

Once again she was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress Daytime Emmy awards in 1987 and 1988, and finally won in 1989 for an emotional storyline in which her character was brutally raped.

In 1993, she played the tailor-made role of Tangie Hill on Guiding Light. In 1995, she make a comeback as Liza on All My Children and in 2001, she was nominated for another Outstanding Lead Actress Daytime Emmy award.
Marcy was once married to an actor Billy Warlock. Later she got married four more times. She is the mother to one son, Taylor.

In 2006 after juggling two roles, one as an actress and another working part-time in her home church, Hope Church, in Wilton, Connecticut, she decided to pursue family ministry full time. Currently she works as a Children's Ministry Director in North Carolina.
