She attended the Juilliard School in New York continued with LA's Antioch University.
As an actress she is very popular especially for the role as Bree Hodge on the hit TV show “Desperate Housewives” which brought her international fame.
She received Emmy and Golden Globe Award nominations during the years and has million fans all over the world.
On the 24th of June 2006 she married Tom Mahoney and now they have two children: Eden Mahoney and Savannah Mahoney.
She was involved in a relationship with Richard Jordan, but unfortunately he died in 1993.
At The 2005 Emmy Awards she received the title as "The Most Beautiful Person".
