Marc Anthony (birth name Marco Antonio Muniz) was born on September 16, 1968 in New York, United States. He is an American singer and songwriter popular in Latin America for his salsa music and romantic ballads.

Biography and Career :

He started his career as a singer in 1998 and since then his international success continue to rise and make him very popular.
His debut album was released in 1991 and it was called "When the Night Is Over". He released then over twelve albums.

There is no doubt he is very talented and the awards won show this. He sings salsa music and romantic ballads.

He has a contract with RMM Records & Video, Sony BMG.
Some of his singles are "Ride on the Rhythm", "No Me Conoces", "N o Me Ames featuring Jennifer Lopez", "I Need To Know / Di­melo", "My Baby You", "Tragedy / Tragedia" or "El Cantante".

Between 2000 and 2004 he was married to Dayanara Torres, who won won the Miss Universe title and they have two children: Cristian Anthony Muniz and Ryan Anthony Muniz.
