
Mara Corday (birth name Marilyn Watts) was born on January 3, 1930 in Santa Monica, California, USA. She had different careers such as acting, modeling and being a showgirl and Playmate of the Playboy magazine.
Biography and Career :
She went to Hollywood because she wanted a career as an actress. The first job she had was as a showgirl at the Earl Carroll Theatre on Sunset Boulevard. In 1951 she appeared in the movie called 'Two Tickets to Broadway'. Soon after this she signed a contract with Universal International Pictures. Three years later, in 1954, she met Richard Long, who was an actor. After his wife died, they started a relationship and in 1957, they married. Starting 1961, she ended the acting career and dedicated her whole time to family. She and her husband had thr
ee children and a wonderful marriage until he died in 1974. In 1977, she had a role in 'The Gauntlet', which was obtained thanks to her friend, Clint Eastwood. She played along him again in 'Sudden Impact', 'Pink Cadillac' and 'The Rookie'.
