Manolo Blahnik was born on November 27, 1942 in Santa Cruz de la Palma in the Canary Islands, to a Czech father and Spanish mother. He is a Spanish fashion designer and an eponymous fashion label, one of the world's most prominent in women's shoes.
Biography and Career:
He attended University of Geneva and got a degree in literature and then went to study art in Paris.
In 1970 he decided to move to London and after three years he managed to open his first shoes shop.
It is well known that you can buy his shoes with prices between hundreds to thousand of dollars.
"Sex and the City" is the television series where his shoes are often advertised.
He received the honorary title of Commander of the British Empire in the Queen's 2007 Birthday Honours List, for services to t
he British fashion industry.
He has a lot of shops in New York and Las Vegas.
He is really talented and during the years his name became a famous one and an icon in the fashion world.
