Biography and Career :

The daughter of a Venezuelan father and Cuban-American mother, Majandra Delfino was born in Caracas, Venezuela, but moved with her family to Miami at age 3. Growing up, she excelled in academics, but gravitated towards the arts, enrolling in ballet, singing and acting lessons, and soon performing in school plays and community theater productions.

Unsure of Majandra Delfino's future, her parents gave her only six months to prove herself in the world of Hollywood. The pressure was on, and Majandra Delfino was willing and able to accept the challenge.
Forced to prove herself, Majandra soon won her first role, a major part in the family film, Zeus and Roxanne, starring with her future Roswell co-star, Miko Hughes. Tons of scripts rolled in due to her part in Zeus and Roxanne, Majandra chose to take on the role of Tina, in The Tony Danza Show, unfortunately, the show was cancelled, but Majandra was able to learn a great deal about television acting versus film acting, which would greatly help her later on in her career.

Majandra Delfino was always more of a musician than an actress, and since the termination of Roswell, she has refocused herself on her music, releasing the critically acclaimed 2003 album "The Sicks" on her own label, Dripfeed, without radio or TV airplay.

Majandra Delfino is currently working on her second album, which is to included songs from the six track album she previously released, as well as newer works. She has received attention in France, through her duet with French chantuese RoBERT, titled 'Le Prince Bleu', in which she sings both in English and French.
