Mahima Chaudhry was born on September 13, 1973 in Darjeeling, India. She is a famous actress and model. She completed her schooling from "Loreto Convent, Darjeeling" and "Dowhill School, Kurseong".
Mahima started her career as a model and ended up with acting. She made her debut appearance in the movie, "Pardes", directed by Subhash Ghai. Her role was of a simple village girl named Ganga, who is the love interest of two men from abroad, Shahrukh Khan and Apoorva Agnihotri.
As a matter of fact, there was 3000 girls who auditioned for the role of Ganga in the movie, Pardes and she was leading all of those. She is also known as Ritu Chaudhary but changed her name after she was suggest by director Subhash Ghai, the name would bring her big fortune.

hima's graph went down as she started playing supporting roles in movies like, "Dhadkan" and "Dil Kya Kare", but the supporting roles brought fortune to her as she was nominated in the caegory of Best Supporting Actress twice.
