Madhu Bala was born on February 14, 1933 in New Delhi, India. She is a famous actress.
Madhu has acted in many movies which have achieved classic and cult status today. She spent her early age in New Delhi and was one of the eleven children of Ataullah Khan, who worked at the Imperial Tobacco Company.
Madhu's family had to face many hardships in their life, dur to which they had to shift at early to Mumbai. By entering Mumbai, Madhu stepped on the screem at the age of nine. Her debut movie was Basant in which she played the role of Manju. The movie got fame all over India and Madhu became a star after that success.
Her second break through movie was, "Neel Kamal" with opposite to Raj Kumar, As a matter of fact, it wasn't the movie that got fame but Madhu's act which was appreciated
through out.
Madhu did many other movies including, "Mughal-E-Azam", Passport, "Jaali Note" and "kala pani".
Her sickness was revealed in 1950, which is commonly known as "Hole in the Heart" due to which she used to cough up blood on the sets. She had to eat home made food as her family was extremely protective about her health.
During her career she had a controversial court case against her love boy, "Dilip Kumar" originally known as Yousaf Khan. They worked together in several movies like, "Tarana", "Jwar Bhata" and "Har Singhaar". The romance lasted for five years as they had some problems, related to shooting at some specific spot.
Later Madhu got married to her husband also an actor, Kishore Kumar but the wedding didn't go well as the differences of Muslim and Hindu families. Kumar's family never accepted Madhu in the form of a daughter in law and she had to constantly stay away due to these differences.
In 1960, she went to England for a routine check up as her health seemed to be deteriorating. She was told not to go for any surgery as the chances of her survival were longing for one more year. She came back to India after that and posed in front of people by telling them that she will survive for nine more years.
But as her health started improving she stepped again on the sets of movie, "Chalack" along with Raj Kapoor. During the shoot, her health deteriorated further and eventually she had to die right after her 36th birthday on February 23, 1969 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

She is famous for her movie, "Mughal e Azam" directed by K. Asif and written by Aman, where she played the role of Anarkali.

Video # 3,7,8,9,10,12 & 14 ( left to right and down) belong to another actress from south India also known as Madhubala ???.
